23 - video; B is gone, but the &*^%$ is back.

[A little after Dean's video, Faith appears on screen. She's behind the bar, same as last time, though there's no alcohol in sight. She has a smile on her face, as she twirls a pewter mug on the tip of her finger.] So B left the building, huh? Bet Dean's pretty happy with the little souvenir I ordered up from the Admiral, too. Should have some nice picks of blondie in there. Something for the whole fan club to fawn over.

But hey - guess that's one less nag I've got to worry about for Christmas Not exactly like she would have enjoyed her gifts anyway, right? Nothing's enough for the Slayer

Which is - wait - my title now, huh? I mean, what with miss perfect gone, and I'm the only Slayer left. Anyone up for a spar? Sunnydale's strongest, right here.

[She tosses the mug up, and catches it. The pewter cracks in her hand, splinters digging.]

[ Doyle was over leaning against another part of the bar still trying to figure out how the Kindle Fire he was given for Christmas works when he heard Faith speaking her post.

It was a slow look up as if he couldn't even process what she had just said.]

What the hell? [ That was all he could say as he looked at her.]

[She wipes a little blood off on her clothes.] Something wrong?

[ He grabbed one of the towels from near by and held it over to her for the blood.] Call me crazy but you ain't exactly actin' yourself.

Thought you and Buffy were close. [ Not that he really knew anything about Sunnydale. he only knew about Faith because of well... Angel while on board and that wasn't a lot.] Are you aimin' to piss them off love?

Guess I'm not up to playing nice tonight. [She gets another mug, spinning it more casually. Her other hand is clenched tight, though.]

Faith. [ He spoke again moving a bit closer, not too close he knew not to piss off a Slayer after all.] Let me see your hand.

It's fine. Just a little cut. [She holds it behind her back.]

Then you wont mind lettin' me see it. [ He replied looking at her with a bit of a flat look.] Come on, don't be like this. You know I ain't gonna say anything to anyone.

[She snorts, but... holds out her hand. It really isn't that much.]

[ Even still, he moved over to put some pressure on the cut with the towel.]

Act all you want Faith, but it's just you and me left. [ He was looking at the cut.] So, just know I'm planning to stick around and I'll be here if you need someone to talk to, no pressure on that.

[ God knows he knew The slayer and her friends could be a stubborn lot.]

'Til the Admiral gets bored of you, right?

[ He gave her a flat look then, the kind that screamed 'shut up'] The Admiral is a bastard I confess, but I have no plans of going anywhere. If I leave here it's hell for me love. I'm already dead I got no where else to go but to stay here.

[ He knows he can go where he wants when he's done but still he's unsure on it. He moved the towel a bit to tie it on so he could let her hand go.] No matter what happens, for now were in this together. So just let me know when you need to talk. I'm sure you will.

[She shrugged, glancing at the door.] Gotta get going, anyhow.

[ Doyle looked towards the door too before adding low.] I'm not choosing sides, but I'll be here when your ready.

[ And seeing who was coming in and the look on his face the Kindle fire was picked up along with his jacket from behind the bar as the Irishman just turned to leave. Nothing else said.]
