Shit. [She forces herself to breathe, eyes shutting.] Can't even trust myself to think... How many ways this place gonna go messing with my head, huh?  'Cause I gotta say, getting pretty sick of it....

Sick of this whole place actually. Sorta thing that makes me wanna smack something. Take the whole thing down a peg, you know?

They're looking for a cure. I can't help with that, so I offered to help people from their rooms.

I haven't got any reasons not to believe them. There are other wardens with magic who can help people.

"So now you're saying magic's involved?" she demanded, hand around the comm shaking a little. "There a reason I can't get helped here?"

"I don't think the disease is magical, but Merlin is a healer. He can't run around everywhere, so we're taking people there. If he's too tired, then they can treat you with normal medicine." Lia vaguely understood that people were having the tempers worsened and more, but she wasn't sure what she could do with a warden who refused sensible help.

"You could just stay put and suffer, I suppose. I wouldn't do that myself if there was help to be had."

"Sort of assuming I can trust whatever you're offering," she pointed out, angrily. Her temper was increasing, there, as was her suspicion as she glared.

"I'm sorry. I thought you did trust me."

"Not sure I trust anyone right now," she shot back. Not sure she was that interested in trusting anyone, either.
