Faith's tired, but her face is somewhat set; it was a wary trip, and she knows - out of everyone - she was one of the lucky few; unfortunately, she watched a lot of good people fall all around her; during her own escape plan. She was relatively prepared to die to escape - wake up in the barge beds; she was far less content to watch a bunch of other people die while she managed to live.

She's trying to pretend it doesn't bug her, though, whe she turns her attention to the comm. There's a few people in particular she wants to see, and she's hoping they'll pop their heads on screen.]

Faith's letting just a little bit of worry slip through her facade of casualness, though she keeps her tone light as she speaks into the comm.]

Faith leans back in a chair, trying not to show any discomfort; what bruises she had are already fading - she'll be back to normal in no time; but she hasn't rested yet; she wants to check up on her inmate first. In her own way,]

[It's not often that Barbara's at a loss for words, but as she stares at her Warden - at the woman who sacrificed her freedom for her - it takes her a moment to speak.]

You should be resting.

[There's a gruffness to her voice, but it's worlds more gentle than usual.]

Not my thing; that a no? [She manages a smile - a little teasing, maybe, but... again, there's something behind it; perhaps a slightly aunted look. Like she doesn't want to be given too much time to think.]

[Barbara knows that look a bit too well, and maybe that's why she nods.]

All right. I'm supposed to be taking a break anyway.

They put you to work already?

I volunteered. You'd think the Admiral would grab more doctors, if he's going to pull stunts like this.

You make it out okay? [He'd given her Ivy's sleeping potion, he's hoping... That had to have gone to some use, right? He'd tried to get in on her escape plan, but ultimately, the guards had just bashed his skull in and given him his free ticket back to the Barge that way.]

I'm alive. Or rather, I haven't died yet. [ Since there are other people who are alive but did die... whatever. Steph's sort of emotionally drained after Kon wakes up. ]

Yeah; I'm fine. [The smiles a little weak though - the potion did help. It had saved her at least once; though she'd ended up in the ring all the same...]

Funny; you don't sound too happy about that. [She's studying you, Steph.]

About being alive? I'm thrilled.

I just wish nobody else had to die to make it happen.

Anyway it doesn't matter anymore. Barge is back in order, everyone's back alive. We just have to recover in time for the next big disaster.
