She's already on her third Pan Galact Gargle Blaster - fully drunk and looking to get drunker as she pulls a final sip of the heady stuff up to her lips for another drought. One last burst of forced apathy, before she puts the glass down.]

[Drunk - this much drunk - is very much different than buzzed; it's different from her normal drunk too. It isn't relaxed, or teasing; it isn't even apathetic anymore; it's angry; it's enraged - at herself, at the Admiral, at whatever the hell gets in her way.

Drunk; angry; and capable of punching through most walls - it's probably a good thing she's found her way into the gym. Not that the punching bag can take much more of her. Not when each punch pushes it to the end of its chain.]

[ ... Oh. Oh crap. This is.. Decidedly not good.

Buffy heads over to the pub, steeling herself with a deep breath and preparing for a potentially very drunk Faith. She comes up behind Faith, out of hitting distance for safe measure, and speaks gently.]

Faith. Hey.

[A little bit of hesitation and Buffy's pulling up a stool next to her.]

[Angel thinks back to the first conversation he had with Faith when she arrived on the Barge and the pride Faith had in having an Inmate. Angel had been proud of her too,losing her Inmate so soon had to take a heavy toll on her.

The mug and her current intoxicated state speak volumes of how heavy the toll is. Pockets his device and heads over to the bar. The conversation he wants to have with her is one that needs to be done in person.

As he closes in on the bar, he hears Buffy's voice. Slows down his pace and takes his time getting to the bar. It didn't sound like their time here had helped the two of them become especially close, so this could be an opportunity for the two of them to bond. Still plans on showing up, he's just going to give them some time to themselves in the meantime.

And, you know, listen in.]

[Don't think Faith doesn't notice you, just because she doesn't; she's drunk, not...... where was she going with this again?

[A semi-awkward sorta-smile. She watches Faith carefully, trying to assess how much she's had to drink. But. It's pretty hard.]

Nope. Just here to say hey. [Little shrug.] Whatcha drinkin?

Want some? [She holds it out in lieu of a response; she's pretty sure a good sip should be enough to knock the blonde slayer on her ass.]

[She raises a hand a little.] Nah. I'm good. Still suffering the after effects of my Big Drunk Night Out weeks ago. I swear, sometimes I can still taste the whiskey. Or was it rum. Or-

[..Horrified look.] It was both. And more.

[AAAANYWAY.] So! Whaddaya say you finish that drink and we'll go hang out. Maybe watch a movie, o-or-

Not up for a girl's night out, B; thanks. [She takes a long sip of the drink, though; not quite looking at Buffy.]

Kara, don't talk like that. You're going to get out of here, and you're going to have a great life. We'll figure it out.

Well, the alternative is a couple of bottles of Chimay and a hot tub. But maybe that's for after. [He hops over the ropes, kicks off his shoes and sets them outside.]

She moves in, taking up her firsts. "Sure you want me? Don't seem like enough for anyone else here."

I don't know, but drinking won't bring her back.
