[Faith leans against a wall, breathing heavily. The place has a few holes in it, some of them actually put there by her. Some of them possibly not real. She doesn't even know anymore.]

This place is starting to give me the creeps. Any of you dogs still among the livings?

Her face is covered in blood; there's a knife in her hands. She's not entirely sure how it got there.]

[ She's there in a matter of minutes. She's got a bit of experience with the place now with all the wandering around she's been doing, and any chance to take her mind off of her own problems is welcome. Horrible though it is to think that about a friend wanting to die... ]

Don't wear it out. [She makes a faint noise, a grunt of pain. She's got a few bruises and lacerations, mostly from punching holes in wood.]

What happened?

[ She heads straight over to her friend, closely examining her injuries. ]

[She shrugs as if it's nothing, not bothering to hide the flash of disgust.] Can't remember.

Can't remember, or don't want to? [ Mostly a rhetorical question. She thinks she knows the answer. ]

Faith, you asked me to kill you. What the hell is going on?

You implying it's a choice?

[She hesitates, not quite wanting to share. Knowing she needs to.] I'm losing control, BG. I'm slipping. And you don't want to see what's gonna come out.

Whatever it is, it can't be as bad as what came out of Kon when he lost it.

You sure about that? [There's a wild look in her eyes. Something dangerous. Something that just wants to slash out and cause pain.]

Whatever ghosts you're keeping, I can handle them.

[ The only thing in Steph's eyes is a stubborn promise. She is not going to kill anyone, and she isn't going to let someone else do it either. ]

I don't wanna hurt you. [She feels like a scared animal.]

I wouldn't hold it against you if I did. I've taken more than you can dish out with just your fists.

You ever take a slayer's punches?

If you kill me I'll just come back. [ She shrugs, like it's nothing. ] I'm not killing you and I'm not leaving you here alone to kill yourself. If I say I can handle it you just have to trust me.
