[She hesitates.] I could use some advice.

[Spam for the bar, later that night]


[Faith will be flinging and serving drinks if anyone's interested. The door will be open, and she won't kick anyone out - excluding a few alcoholics.

When she's not serving alcohol, she can be found lounging behind a bar, drinking her own mug. Come one come all, now's your chance. Faith seems to be in a good mood.]

[He shrugs.] It's practice.

[In answer, he attacks again.]

[And in answer, she moves to parry. She's not going to hold back for this.]

[He won't win on brute strength, he's relying on his speed and precision for this. When she parries, he instantly moves back and tries again from a different angle, giving her as little time to adjust as possible.]

[She shifts, maybe a little slow - trying to get there in time. She doesn't intend to give him a hit if she can help it.]

[He takes the opening and lashes out, putting a little power behind this.]

[She grimaces, stepping back as she tries to trap his staff between her body and her own stick.]

[It gets stuck, but he lets go immediately, so that she has two sticks to contend with.]

[Yeah, no. She's just gonna toss both aside and get into a fighting position.]

[theonlyresponse]

[That's more like it. Unarmed, he can do. He goes for a nerve strike.]

[She twists, trying to duck out and lash at his rib. Bare firsts hit hard when they're coming from a slayer, but she isn't thinking about the potential for cracked legs.]

[He uses the opportunity to attempt a sweep.]

[She does her best not to fall, driving against him and ready to cartwheel if needed.]

[He uses her own momentum against her, and goes for a throw.]
